I’m thrilled to announce that on Wednesday 13 November 2024, I will be making my debut performance at the DARE Festival, held at the Gateway Theatre. It’s an honour to share the stage with celebrated Singaporean talents, including jazz icon Jacintha, pop sensation shazza, and the talented pianist Azariah Tan, among others. This event is more than just a festival; it’s a platform that celebrates art’s power to break down boundaries and connect us all, regardless of our abilities.

As a Deaf performer and advocate, I’m passionate about creating spaces where the Deaf community can experience music and art inclusively. Performing Deaf music with incredible musicians allows us to showcase how music resonates visually and physically – in ways that words alone can’t capture. This performance isn’t just about sound; it’s about the shared human experience of rhythm, expression, and emotion.

DARE Festival 2024 is making great strides in accessibility, featuring Singapore Sign Language (SgSL) interpreters, live captions, and audio descriptions for those who are visually impaired. For individuals who need a calm space during the event, a dedicated room will be available, ensuring everyone feels welcome and comfortable.
